12 Cabins That Will Make You Want to Leave Civilization Behind
We'll see you in Norway.
By Elizabeth Griffin and Zach Klein
Turning an Instagram account into a book deal is nothing new. We've seen it time and again with Internet celebrities like @AliciaCook, the New Jersey poet who published a book of her never-before-seen work in January, and @clean_eating_alice, who landed a six-figure contract.
Now one of our favorite Instagram accounts, @cabinporn, is getting its due with Little Brown's release of a gorgeous tome of the same name. Each page is packed with Pinterest-worthy photography, from 200-year-old stacked stone homes in Switzerland to a prefabricated cabin with solar panels—and septic tanks—in Tintaldra, Australia. It's enough to make you consider going off the grid for good. Here, we share 12 similarly inspiring photographs from the book. — Jill Krasny
